Herwig Schoen – founder, teacher, practitioner
Herwig Schoen (02/27/1958 – 01/01/2020) was born and raised in Germany. He was a licensed healing practitioner in Germany and practiced Classical Homeopathy from 1989 until 1998. He studied Craniosacral Therapy at the Upledger Institute in Germany and Integrative Manual Therapy at Dialogues in Contemporary Rehabilitation in the United States and Germany from 1995 to 1998.
Herwig developed ReConnective Therapy and offered this new alternative nonmedical/nonpsychological healing modality in individual and group sessions and, together with his wife Kerstin, trained practitioners in Europe and the United States. Herwig was an experienced healing arts practitioner; he was not a physician, psychotherapist, or other licensed health care provider in the United States.
